True Blue Coral Calcium
True Blue Coral Calcium is an above sea coral calcium distributed by CFU Distribution, based in Blaine, WA. True Blue contains very high grade above-sea coral calcium from Okinawa Japan and 73 other minerals and elements. Currently True Blue Coral Calcium is available in capsule and powder form.
Our Thoughts: One of the few companies that have not capitulated to cheaper coral, this product is consistently one of the purest Okinawan corals. It is selected from the fossilized coral heads, not the surrounding ground for greater purity. It is more costly than some retail store corals, but in our opinion well worth it. The reason it is not sold in retail outlets is the price would get too high with wholesaler and retail markup (because of the cost of the raw material). The added vitamin D is at a high level which newer science supports. We are not crazy about their blue bottles, but the product inside is extraordinary.

Procedure: |
The sample identified as Lot# O3393AO1845 sample was diluted as necessary in glass Class A volumetric flasks. The elements Chloride, Fluoride, and Bromine were analyzed via Ion Chromatography (I.C.). Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption (CVAA) was used for analysis of Mercury. Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption (GFAA) was the method used to determine Arsenic, Selenium, Lead, and Antimony. Semi-quantitative analysis for all other elements was carried out using Inductively Coupled Plasma - Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES). |
